BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD
After more than 40 years as a professional photographer, I've returned to the easel with fresh ideas and renewed inspiration. Photography has given me a lifetime of visual experience that I often use as reference and inspiration for painting.
When I opened the creaky lid of the old paint box, I found my W&N oils in as good condition as the day I bought them many long years ago. Fortunately, I had stocked up big on artist's studio tubes. To replace them at today's prices would cost quite a small fortune, and some of the rarer pigments are no longer made.
